domestic exhibits at Bletchley Park. An array of irons. We had a washing machine similar to the one you can see here, with a powered wringer, which could be used to lift the washing out of the tub, by feeding a corner between the rollers.

Designer of the Dismount Washer; among Top 8 Finalist of the Electrolux Design Lab 2010. Lichen Guo identifies the conventional washing machine as an unnecessary occupier of space. The Dismount Washer addresses this by combining the cleaning vessel and laundry basket in one.
